SuperCross
The SuperCross Hot Wire system is the answer to the problem of producing foam parts with wire cuts in two directions. To date this has been handled by a single-wire machine with the operator having to re-orient the block every time. Velocity's unique dual-wire SuperCross does cutting at 90 degrees through blocks up to 8 ft long, 8 ft wide and 4 ft high. It utilizes one tool path thereby eliminating mis-cuts, ,making it more accurate as well as being faster. This all adds up to a marked improvement in daily through-put. The towers park out of the way allowing 2 sides clear for loading and the cable chains are located under the machine so there is nothing to step over accessing the platform.
